4 door fenders

I have started my jeep speed build and i wanted to know if anyone has done a high travel fender cut on a four door. If it is even possible cause here is what i was thinking i could do but my rear doors restrict it and i still want to keep the back seat. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showpost.php?p=244392786&postcount=18 what do you guys think?

BajaXJ's cut was well beyond the standard back seat area.

the limit of travel on a tire of 33" or so isn't the top or inner area of the wheelopening, it's the front and rear. on a 33" tire you should be able to pull plenty of travel to max out a deaver race pack with the right shock setup and proper bump stopping to get you going pretty damn fast for a front and rear solid axle setup. check out the official jeepspeed forums @ www.jeepspeed.com (it looks like their site is down at the moment) to see what the racers are doing.

So a decent lift and the right shocks should be fine?
