4.88's rubicon ready!!

today i just received the following
Yukon: 4.88's r+p for a dana 30 and 44
2 master install kits
new open carrier for the front
and a detroit for the rear
:D

i ordered all of this over the phone yesterday around 4:00pm and it arrived at my door at about 5:00pm today.

cant wait for the rubicon run!!
4.88's, and detroit for the rear turnin 33's gonna be sick!!

Section 3: Membership Qualifications

1. In order to be eligible for Membership an individual shall satisfy the following requirements:
1. Shall be not less than 18 years of age;
2. Shall own or shall have regular use of an XJ or MJ vehicle.

I'm ok with him not joining yet. ;)

oh and i ordered my gears from a guy with the screen name machinewave on pirate 4x4 vendors in the axles and tires section.

I think you have to be over 18 to go on a NAXJA run because of the statutory rape laws. :rtm:

Breaking them in (apart) on the trail isn't fun...

im getting them done shortly (next couple of days). so they day i get them back is the day they go in the jeep. so ill have 20 something days to be drivin on them and possibly a little wheeling at the local carnegie after the break in period is over.

how many miles is recommended for "breaking them in"?

Follow the instructions :D

Generally, it's not so much how many miles, but what kind of miles. Your enemy is heat when you're breaking in a new set. Stay off the freeway and make short trips with plenty of time to let things cool off. It's not rocket science, it's just easy to get impatient.

You make me feel guilty.
I have never broken in a set like that, I just get on the freeway and drive for two hours. :doh:
