4/24 - Let's put a run together!

What about Hollister Hills? Normally we have a spring Hollister run, I've just been too busy to put it together this year.

I should be able to make the 24th. It's my last Saturday for awhile as well.

When I saw the thread I figured Hollister sounds cool and looks like I'm not the only one who thought that. I just went there a few days ago on Sunday and they have some more obstalces like a huge pile of earth mover tires you can drive up and a few other things. Its a nice place too meet and has something to offer for every rig type. Would it be an all day thing were we bring lunch or do you guys meet up after? I was thinking Gilroy has Famous Daves if you guys like BBQ???

I can't do the weekend before, but you could start a thread for that if you want.

I'm not free that weekend as well, and I don't have a working rig at the moment. I would probably be better off wrenching on my junk anyway. Not much else here in the Bay Area to do for wheeling.

Staying on the county roads won't be wheeling but...Clear Creek? If it just re-opened for through travel maybe we should take advantage to demonstrate the importance of this area for recreation and how responsible we are with public lands.

I was thinking the same thing earlier today. I would be up for a day trip out there.

Staying on the county roads won't be wheeling but...Clear Creek? If it just re-opened for through travel maybe we should take advantage to demonstrate the importance of this area for recreation and how responsible we are with public lands.

But there's nothing even moderate in terms of obstacles? I'm hoping to take my dad out on his first wheelin' trip, so I was kinda hoping for a few challenging spots at least.
