4:1 questions and gears

I know 4.56 and 35 is like stock ratio on my tire chart and 4.88 is equivalent to 36 so it wouldn't be much off stock with only an inch difference
I think I'll just stay with the stock case for now and get duals later

I just bought a 4speed atlas for really close to your figure and saved money on drive lines. so for me it was a win win. The couple things that are to me a negative about the 241 still has a chain. No two low(unless you go aftermarket Add 250$) and no front digs. And your only 4.1.

Nothing wrong with a chain, never seen one break. There can be a small amount of slop that's possible to feel if you have a stick and low gears and are sensitive. Front digs are for D60's, not much point with a D30 or with a D44 and 37's. A 4 to 1 is great for an auto, you might want lower gears with a stick and bigger tires. The 2low is a big thing, lot's of times that 2low is handy to have.

The price on a 241 has gone way up, and the price of a 2 speed Atlas is pretty reasonable. Worth checking out.
