3 link vs Radius arm build

Yea ive been welding something and all seems to be going well. The i stop and lift my hood to find my entire project is on fire. Lol
 DOH

I lit my self on fire welding my exhaust and didn't realize it till I was inside the garage and looked down to see my pants burning around the boot.

This is why I like having an auto darkening helmet, it flickers and flashes at me if something catches fire. I usually realize within a second or two.

I have on but was focusing on the weld so it was darkened

Hence why I said what I said. Smells nasty.

Can barely tell it happened, just the skins a bit leathery there. No hair grows there anymore either

Burns are the worst. Over a decade later you can't really see the soldering iron burn on the top of my right leg anymore. Dropped an 80 watt pencil iron wearing shorts.

No hair means it must have been a ****ing deep burn, but I'm sure you know that already. Jesus.

I dropped a oxy torch and took off my hair.
How's the new ballistic joints? Just wondering because of foxwars build.

I think I'm gonna be a retard and buy a cheap 29 spline 8.25 LSD to throw in the MJ's rear axle for now. I'm getting real tired of the one tire fire.

weld it, no balls
Sorry, I like my tires to not wear out twice as fast and attract enough negative attention from the police without chirping every corner.

I am pretty sure I can pick up an LSD for 30-50 bucks.

Shit. I went and lots-o-posted in someone's build/question thread again. How the hell do I keep doing that? I am bad at computers.

Luke, welding one spider won't leave any way for anything to spin any more than welding all the spiders and side gears would... it'll just be weaker.

FWIW, the air lockers used in military trucks with 2.5 and 5 ton Rockwell axles are basically just a toothed collar that slides over/into slots in one side gear and locks it to the bullgear carrier. If it works for the military, it'll work for a jeep.
