I finally got my lower link mounts cought on something and it stopped my forward progress!

I now see why you west coast guys are so bent up on the links being above the frame rail. Thought I would update.

Lucky for you. Looks like the links just prevented you from doing further damage to your driveline and the rest of the undercarriage.

Actually there is a v notch that the front fit in nicely. Other wise it would have eaten my front shaft!
 
Yeah, we crawl over that kind of stuff all the time. Plus, we do so many rock gardens with big rocks that getting hung up is what usually stops you. Since we wheel on dry rock that usually has good traction, for challenge we run a lot of tight trails and obstacles and huge ledges and holes where chassis parts rubbing rock is the main concern with not making it.
