3" front spacers or coils

I would like a pair of reasonable 3" front spring spacers or a pair of 3" coils before I decide to make my own...however, I'm leaning towards making my own because of the cost. I'm just lifting a daily driver and thus don't want any super stiff springs.

Make your own. I did. take two pieces of 3/16-1/4 inch thick pipe and two 1/4 in thick washer with the right ID and OD and weld them together at whatever length you need. I've been running them for over 6 months now in my DD and I do some mad wheelin with them too. Cost $3 in parts and about 1/2 hour to make them up.

Yeah, I was gonna do that, but by the time I ordered washers from Fastenal, (a madxj.com trick) and found some black pipe at 3-1/2" or 4" I would have more in them than if I were to just hock a piece of billet alum. from work and turn them out on the lathe. I started them today and will finish in the morning. Perhaps I'll post a pic.
