Getting ready to go through suspension on my 1995 RWD 2 door 5-spd 4.0 that I picked up for sideways fun at my local SCCA rallycross.
Here it is pictured in front of my ZJ:
...and no...the xj will not be on an 2" bb lift and 31's anymore..when i have it ready for rallycross.
Anyway... bought it with a pretzel'd upper front control arm on the drivers side.
The upper axle mount on that side has seen better days too.
But being 2wd the mount ain't attached to a diff of course-it's just a tower mount like we all have on our 4wd and 2wds on the passenger side. Below pic swiped off this forum-not my actual axle but another 2wd xj:
Just want to verify 2wd tower mount is same on drivers side and passenger. Looks the same to me.
I'll probably just replace all the axle mounts-they look cheesey thin and one of the lowers already looks like it broke and was (crappily) rewelded
I'm looking at these:
Ironman 4x4:
or....
Stinkyfab(nice-but they are shut down for summer):
or...
Barnes:
Just want to make sure I can order two of one of the above and will be good for a 2wd.
Thanks for any help!
