231 spline question.

I have a 92 xj. Np231 AW4. 8.25&D30. 4.0. Would anyone be able to tell me if my spline output on the tc is 21.

Not sure what the output spline on the t-case is. The input spline on that year 231 is 23-spline.

Would an Np231 out of the 2.5cl work behind a 92 4.0. I'm not sure on the year for the 231 out of the 4cl

Find out the spline count or the year, thats the only way to know for sure!

u need to check the splines on the t case...i know that a 92 4.0 should have 23 output trans splines....unless someone put an older trans in it or sumthin...the only way to know for sure is to remove the case and count em...u can use the planetary set out of the t case that is in ur jeep now if the spline count isnt right...
