$21K XJ on Mattracks....

There's a guy here in aspen with a set-up like that on his truck. They break down a lot. The tracks cost 5K each and the guys at Pitco Offroad say they are crap.

When they work, they work great. But they always seem to break down.
 
It'd be cool to build your own set. Wonder how it'd work.
Yes, they are impressive when they work, haven't heard a lot of neg responses about them, but I don't think I'd buy em no matter what. $$$$
 
I can see how they'd be problematic just like any tracked vehicle. Lots-O-Moving parts exposed to harsh conditions... Pretty neat tho. It's obvious that when they work, they work well. Hell, that's the only way they could ever get an H2 to do that! :laugh:
 
do they come in chrome?



i remeber seeing them on "Trucks" back in the day, they were loud
