2014 Crawl... Big news!

Cool! That's what I like to hear. I assume all the cabins are within close proximity of each other and near the main shenanigans?

Yep, probably 100 yards from where everything is held. And it is on the main trailhead so you will know if people start leaving up the trail.

Wait we have to get Andy on the trails on time?

Just reserved my camp site... July 1st - 6th..... Cannot wait.... is it summer yet?

Just reserved Cabin #1, guess me and Andy will be neighbors. I dont feel so bad now about Harper crying in the middle of the night...

July 1-6th, bring it!

If I can get this axle-wrap issue solved on the Rocket there is a good chance it will make it. I won't be able to beat on it too hard as it will still have a D30 up front.

Needs:
-Traction bar
-Front driveshaft
-Transfercase linkage
-Transfercase protection
-Fix tire carrier

Budget allowing:
-Front bumper and winch
-Front locker so I can certainly blow up a shaft
-Rebuild front links or go long arm

Looks like a cage is in the works. I'm going to be picking up stumps old top and b pillar assy and do a halo. Should make the traction bar easier to mount!

Nick we've built several XJ/MJ leaf packs over the years and have found if you take a main leaf (eyeless) or a 2nd leaf...and install it in your pack on top of the actual main...it helps a lot with wrap. Keeps things clean and does not add to the spring rate since it's on top of main. My MJ rear end is like that now...granted I don't have the power of your stroker BUT even with the 5.13's I had no issues with the 14B wrapping up (drug it around for sure).

Hopefully I can make this one, depends on how much I can save and how much I become engrossed in getting my old Plymouth going...

Won't be waiting on me.

I always suspected Andy cried himself to sleep at night.

This is true. Tears of joy.

So, the owner called me last night to inform me that someone had beat me to cabin #2. He said that the only 2 cabins left were #3 and one of the huge cabins. So, I got cabin #3. He said that #3 cost $15 more per night... whatever.

Who the hell runs a business like that?

I wonder who got cabin #2.

.

Nuh uh! He better check his system. Has anyone told him how big this one is gonna be? I don't think he's used to all the cabins being gone before January.

Yeah, that's the problem. His system needs updating.

Either way, I've got a cabin locked down. That's all that matters.

A lot of people got those calls this weekend. His business practices leave a lot to be desired...

I reserved a cabin that said, on the website, $90 a night, but when I reserved it the reservation said $60. He wrote me today and said that it will be at $90 because it has a bathroom in in now. Well, there is another $120 to budget so that I can go pee in the middle of the night without having to find a tree.
