2007 Wrangler, what do you think?

forget function for a second and focus on form - i really think the squared hardtop gives it an awesome, way cleaner look then the last wranglers. it almost reminds me of the back of a samurai or something- i think it looks way more agressive and better.

Looks like they're giving the Wrangler a slower decline into craphood than the other models in the range got.

Every time I see it the first thing that pops in my head is "Diahatsu Rocky".

So much for being the trend setter, now they are ripping off cheap off-shore rip-offs of themselves.

Even with Wrangler's wider and longer stance, it is still apt to roll-over under extreme on-road conditions. Electronic Roll Mitigation monitors the vehicle and can intervene if necessary

This sounds just like XJGuy's idea from a few years back!

.... but are they made of PVC and perform like outriggers? That is the XJGuy test. Sorta like training wheels for new Jeepers. :)

I searched for the thread, but couldn't find it. That was a classic.

3.7 V6?? what was wrong with the 4.0 HO? I hear the V6`es suck.
3.8ltr, and if there based off the old 3.3/3.8ltr there quite reliable. I had one in a Crysler minivan with over 260k (when I traded it in on the xj)on it with out any repairs nor did it burn oil.

Wonder if the D44's on that thing could be swapped in place of D30/35's on the other Jeeps that are aflicted with them? It would be intertesting if a Camaro/Firebird muffler could be used on that truck (Those work on Dodge/Plymouth Neons as a near bolt on, so why not here too.) Gotta admit, I like the multi piece top too, it should be lighter than a full 'glas top and be easier to remove just being a multi piece unit. Depending on how the lights attach, they may be replaceable like a sealed beam light and upgraded or down graded easily. If they do a 4 dr with a Selec-Trac, I'd consider it.
