2 jeep build thread/blog.

very interesting. Id like to see you keep the full bodied look with a dove tail. that would be very cool.

Look what followed us home today. 05 dodge ram rolling chassis. Pulling the 4.7L for the wife's jeep and parting out the rest. Getrag 238 6 speed manual, np 241d transfer case, tires and wheels, rear axle, alternator, starter, fuel tank, etc if you know anybody who need this stuff, I'll let it go cheap. Time to get the wj ready for the con memorial day.

Back to working 6-10's, but the wife has been prepping the wj evenings this week. Hope to pull the motor from it sunday. With daylight savings I should have about an hour of light to work on it each day starting next week. Need to finish both jeeps by memorial day weekend.

Youre a busy man! Holy crap. Glad to see things coming along

No rush to fix mine when hers was broken, we can wheel with just the wj. The xj with no doors etc doesn't work for the wife, k8d, dogs, gear, etc. I will have them wheel able by spring if it kills me.

Progress, wj has an engine again! Still need to reinstall radiator, grill, headlights, etc but the engine is in and bolted up/hooked up. Once the front end is back together it's time to redesign the coilover mounts in the rear, install the ruff stuff 14b pinion guard and truss bridge, install the Barnes 4x4 14 bolt shave cover and she will be trail ready again. Still looking for a decent deal on a front 60 though.

One of my favorite threads on here. Keep it coming man. thanks for the updates. glad to hear its almost there man!

And this is happening.

03 ford superduty 60. Metric lug pattern and ball joints, it's not the optimal front axle but I'll never spend another dime on a Dana 30. Wj will soon be 60 front, shaved/ trussed 14 bolt rear, 3 link front, triangulated 4 link rear, 14" fox coilovers out back, np231 swapped in place of the full time case and ready for action. 60/231 swap may have to wait until after memorial day as I'm still going to try and get the xj back together.

you are a machine man. Thanks for the updates. I love reading this build thread.

When they make me work overtime, I put money aside for upgrades, when the overtime slows down its time to build. Lockers will be the next round of upgrades once all this is done.
