So a long time ago I pulled the ABS relay from the PDC under the hood. Apparently there is a fuse in the fuse box as well...is that correct? I was looking at a diagram of 98 XJs fuse blocks (inside cab) and found this:

Fuse #25 shift lock solenoid, a/c heater control, abs controller, abs controller relay, blower motor relay, blend door actuator

Is this the fuse I need to pull? Of course if I do this, I wont have a/c heater control, etc.

Do you leave this fuse and just pull the relay to keep the system operating fine (and ABS light off)? My xj had a d35 from factory, but had a c8.25 swapped into it. Im testing a theory about a stuck caliper causing wander issues and am trying to make sure I have a "clean slate" when changing out the brake system in the coming days.

Removing the 1997-2001 ABS relay (or relays) fully disables the ABS, and makes the ABS light turn off. No need to pull any fuses.
