Dusey:
North to South......Kaiser Pass to Courtwright, so far Bronco and I

Are we crazy for attempting it, I have been informed by my inlaws that Thompson Hill, going up is going to be extremely difficult, tons of loose boulders and such. Please comment on expeirence's?

So Far: no winch, but highlift jacks and a PowerPuller.
Both of us have at least rear lockers and good gearing.

Well, if we go, the plan is to be at the Kaiser side by 8AM, Drive the trail until we meet up with the group going the other direction, stay with them Saturday night, drive back out Sunday. Mark and I can also bring in more supplies: gas, beverages, tri-tip, etc...

Two day Swamp run, go in Saturday come out Sunday.

Coming in from Kaiser you will be going down Thompson, not up. This is if you go all the way through. Thompson is the grade you traverse up out of Courtwright. The first group going up will get through this area on the first day. Though there are some difficult areas at the top you guys should do fine if you take it easy.

Hey Bronco, what are we bringing? No need to over pack. Also are you leaving early early Sat morning or coming down to Fresno Friday night?

My plan is to come down Friday night straight from work, so we can get going early Saturday. As far as what to bring I have a very small tent (you say it at the coast), tarps, a chair and a five gallon water thing… I don’t know what do we need I generally have enough stuff in my jeep to just hit a G store and head out.

Just bring your chair, Water Jug and tarps, and straps and such. Everything else we may need we can get from here.
