I REALLY hate to sell her, but life is dictating it!
1987 Wrangler-clean title
She's not really a Wrangler anymore, here's why....
-Chevy 350, recently overhauled, tight cylinders & crank
-new Edelbrock 600
-headers, dual exhaust, no cats
-mild cam for low RPM
-HEI
-SM465 4 speed, 1 ton of course, tight
-NP205
-corp. 14 bolt rear w/ Detroit
-Dana 44 HD (8 lug) lincoln-ed
-Spring-over w/ 2 inch lift pro-comp springs, 1 inch lift shackles
-Painless wiring throughout
-Summit fuel cell tucked up high & armored
-Bestop waterproof seats
-35"X15.5" TSL Swampers, 80%
-4.10 Gears (sufficient crawl ratio w/ the 205 & 465)
-Body armor: front custom bumper, 4" x 4" 1/4" thick angle iron for rockers
-Autometer guages: Tach, temp, & oil pressure
-Warn 9000 winch
-Rancho 9000's on custom mounts for max flex
-Warn hubs
-Rhino-lined interior
There's a lot of hidden engineering in this baby, & things I've left out.
Problems:
-clutch is getting close to retirement
-no top: hard, soft, Bikini or otherwise
-hard half doors, no windows (uppers)
-Eventually I planned to get a CV shaft for the rear, she could use it
$7500, over 15K into it.
