1/17 Wheelin and M&G in Mass.

So can anyone give me a rundown on exactly what is required/recommended for this run? I can probably make the club requirements as in recovery points, extinguisher, spare, etc...

...but chances are I will be running 33x12.50s and 3.07's open/open. Should I just hope that someone has a spare seat? I will show up no matter what... just more of a "should I wheel or hope for a seat" type of thing... There is approximately a 1 in 500 chance that I will have a locked rear and 4.88s all around by then... but I think the odds of that are [quite] slim, particularly regearing the front.

Edit: And I realize someone will say I should wheel no matter what.... It's just more of a question of will I be the guy who is an annoying f*** to everyone else; the guy who holds everyone up and leads to much anger and frustration. :D

i'll be that guy. just wheel!!!

you just can't be afraid of the skinny pedal with open / open

Not afraid of the skinny pedal at all. Just afraid of not being able to get home/off the trail if I do use the skinny as 'needed'

kyle kept up last year on 31s open open.
yeah but were they AT's or something a bit beefier? I will see if I can get the registration and inspection/etc by then, if so I am there. Just gotta be sure I will make it there in the first place and not end up on the side of the pike

yeah just simple ATs. all terrains are actually a lot better in snow than just straight up BFG muds, for example. the more siping the better when it comes to the snowy stuff

If theres no snow, I may just take the girlfriends XJ. Left her have some fun.

aww, that's nice. Maybe I'll take Mia's altima, now that you put the idea of bringing the girlfriend's vehicle in my head... :fuse:

no mud run? cant fear the skinny pedal in the snow.

Mud is for pigs to play in, not my toys.

I dont fear the skinny pedal anywhere. The jeep fears me...

I might end up stealing someone's passenger seat, back seat, or roof rack... we'll see

that little bit of metal in my eye kinda killed any chance I had of getting my axles and tires on in time, and my front tires are currently literally worthless... don't want to screw with it till I can do it right, and I've managed to miss every chance I had to get to a junkyard for new steering stuff this week. Hopefully I'll actually make it there tomorrow. If I can get my steering sorted out, tires on, and fenders trimmed, I'll be ready to roll.
