1/17 Wheelin and M&G in Mass.

Looks like I won't be making it to this one. Rear axle is toast and I highly doubt I will be able to have the front regeared and the new rear installed by then. I may show up to walk or ride shotty if there is a seat available, but won't have the Jeep

im sure there will be seats availible, at worse you will be stuck in a rear seat, its to good of a time to miss

I will def be there, as long as there is somewhere to park my altima... unless I borrow my father/brother's SUV in the event that I am going to be buying some stuff out that way.

Has anyone been out there lately? is there any snow built up on the trails or is it pretty clear?

Im gunna start doing "snow dances" so the run can be like last years and there will be plenty of fresh powder to blast through.

i think there was like 4" in the area when i was there last weekend, i know there will be a group of 12 rigs from ENH that will be there the day before, i hope we get snow that nite to cover up there track

ok ill try and remember ken...your is from a manual right??

ill need to swap that in real quick before we hit the trails. mine will probly survive but it makes an annoyning noise

Yep, it's from a manual - I pulled it at the JY for my SYE before I realized that auto/manual front DSes were different lengths. Tried to give it to Travis but never managed to get ahold of him, it's been hanging around since then.

:scared: I totally forgot haha. No worries... if Jon can use it it's all his. As long as he cuts his ENH ties. :conceited

hahaha ok. The joints and such look good to me, but you might want to check it over first yourself. It's still got a legible MOPAR sticker on it with the original part number surprisingly.

meh, if the sticker is still on it its better than mine haha

mine is custom shortened on a bandsaw and then welded back together and not balanced... same as my rear shaft haha

yeah i cant make this, i got to fix my RE control arm joints, axle shaft u joints, weld the rear. I dont think i can get the parts in time.

Control arm joints? Run em unless they're totally trashed.

U-joints? Pick up some spicer 760s from a local parts place, or Crown in Canton, MA if you can make it out east. If it helps, I can pick them up and get them to Marlborough, MA if you meet me around 5ish at some point this week.

Weld the rear? Not a requirement to wheel.

i hate being open in the rear. It was nice to have the luxury of being locked then going back to open just sucks.

my joints are TRASHED, i know ill need the whole thing, my axle rotates when i stop hard in reverse.

The u joint are no problem. Haha just another excuse.

ill be out there sooner or later.

You ALWAYS have excuses. I've yet to wheel with you Bob :twak:

I've yet to wheel with any of you :eyes: in fact I haven't actually wheeled since I was stock. Hopefully I make this one.

My axle bounces around on hill climbs...but I'll be there with my foot to the floor. :D

I will probably be there w/o the Jeep. I think I was talked into just regearing the D30 up rather than building a 44 so I should be able to wheel soon though (I will still probably be building a 44 over the next few months, I just want to wheel and regearing is the quick way out... and then i can take my time with building the 44 rather than rushing it )

I won't have the Jeep ready for this trip, but hopefully can find a seat. Otherwise I will just walk it.. or I will just skip the and bring my car to the shop like I should. My front rotors are warped again. I can't wait to sell that POS. </rant>

I'm there very for sure.
