I gotta ask, why didn't you run the Dana 44 C's knuckles and outers and ditch the unit bearings and run selectable hubs if you want?

just wondering why you are welding those on a 30? did you break yours? why not just upgrade the axle if your going through the trouble of welding all new brackets?

The 2.5 is a good little motor, the only issue is the power. If its an automatic I would pass. Offroad: trail and rocks with the right gearing is fine. It will never blast around the dunes though.

Tear that locker apart and take a look. Those lockers are real simple.

The only thing I could think of since your only going 33s would be the locker selection, I think there are more available for the 8.8

I had to do 70% of my floors. Cut all the rust out. welded all new 14gauge in. When I did the back I removed the gas tank because I didn't want to blow myself up.

I am sure you could adapt Cs with DOM with 2.75 ID and 3.0 OD. I would sell the beadlocks but that's easy for me to say because I didn't put time into them.

X2. lockouts are nice and you get the bigger brakes. I think the tubes are bigger than 2.75 as well.

It would also be nice to get pre made brackets and tabs from somewhere local that actually has good customer service. Cage kits that can be bought in sections. I will end up making my own but if there were pre made sections that would save me some time I would be interested. Like a nice "X"...

How much up travel will you have when you put weight on those springs?
