So in order to put in the new zeitronics wide band O2 datalogger system in I need to add a O2, So I ordered a O2 bung, 2.5 inch exhaust tubing, and u-bends to build a new exhaust with mandrel bent tubing. its is sexy. I built most of it today finish it tomorrow. Head to pismo on Mon tue wed...
why would a fuel pressure regulator be a bad idea. I have injectors in there that require pressure greater than stock pressure. With the new wide band O2 data logger system I can dial that thing in.
here is the engine specs
99+ intake
renix 1988
ho 7120 head
comp cam 68-232-4

I am looking for a fuel pressure regulator and leigh performance is out of them and I do not want to $230 for one from hesco. I found on that seems like it should work msd boost adjustable fuel pressure regulator #2222.

yes everything was replaced including the "radiator cap"
the cooling style is open
CR is 10.75:1 runs on half 112, half 91 octane
Has anyone personally experienced this issue?
I built a stroker .060 over and it seems to runs too hot alot.
The Question is has any one heard of cooling issues due to going too big on the bore? IE .060 over
the reasoning behind this is the cylinder walls are too thin and under heavy load the coolant flashes to steam at the cylinder.

I read some where on this forum about a 70mm thottle body (I think a ford taurus) that you could make work on a 99+ intake. I am looking for a larger tb for my renix stroker with 99 intake.
does any one remember reading this thread?
I just bought the 99+ intake and adapted the tb and the fuel rail from the renix system to fit on the newer intake, also replaced corresponding p/s pump assem pieces. only problem with that is the egr gets dumped.
My personal experience: I had used and abused 5.5 inch Rubicon Express springs I cut one half of a turn and it lowered approx 1 inch----hope it helps-- Justin

I checked the oil galley plug in the front of the motor behind the timing cover, IT WAS THERE.
I had a machinest/engine builder from Wholesale Automotive Machine of San Diego come to my house to check the motor out. By the way he offered to come to my house and refused the...
