OK apparenty the salvage yard has the trim rings from a 1990. Will they fit? I'm talking about the aluminum rings that hold the housings in place. I may pick up the throttle body too.

Arrrrgh! I tried to modify the trim rings to fit, and now the dealer wants $22 each for new ones. New bolts to align the headlights are $6 each! Looks like I'll be calling the salvage yard.

I have a 2000 XJ SE with a 2.5 5-speed and 4.10 gears. I currently have a 40-tooth gear in the car, and I am running P215/75R15 tires. I plan on mounting P235/75R15s. The dealership can sell me either the 39 tooth or the 37 tooth gear. Which one do I need? Thanks!
