I had an 89 Caravan 2.5 TURBO with a 5 speed. It was the stripped down cargo model, no back side windows or rear seats. Insanely fast and got great mileage. There are still ones out there driving around. Might be what you are looking for.

I wondered about the GM 2.8/3.1/3.4 V-6 conversion and mentioned something about the bell housings being close if not the same. A 2.8 carbed would probably suit his purpose as he does not want to have to completely convert the whole electrical and harnesses over. Thanks again for the replies...
