Pics from a little JV testing today

Paul Sinclair and I went out to JV today for some testing of new mods.
Paul had a major cage rebuild to test and I was trying out the new boat sides.
Both rigs still have lots of things to finish but we really wanted to get back out on the rocks. No problems with Paul's but ,I managed to kill one
7100 shock with a rock and had a BBCS leak on the back. It was still a great day with good weather and lots of fun on the trails.

Paul driving the top fall on Wreckingball. We both made it today. This was the first time I have ever made it up that damm thing. I feel the boatsides made all the differance on both rigs.

Next we ran over to Sludge. Me with the poser flex shot.

From sludge we headed back around to Jack. Heres Paul part way up.

After Jack there was still a little daylight so it was off to Backdoor.
This is Paul making the big fall for the first time. I also made it but
no pics since it was getting dark. Paul had so much fun the first time he did
it again.

Nice pics. Now the only way to tell apart is the color of the hood............................. Both look good though.

Weld skin on.

I left the back by the spring hanger undone because I was planning to cut them off. But, after this weekend I think I'm going to try some new packs.
I still need to cut off the back of the rig and redo it as well. It's way to wide right now.

Yes, Paul did away with the windshield.

Hard to believe that this is the same rig I saw 2 1/2 years ago.

With the amount of $$$ you guys have waisted in leafs you could have linked up the rear 5 times over... I guess I still have some advantage...:laugh3:

Keep dreaming Matt. I've only seen 2 cars drive backdoor unassisted, mine & Dave's. The common denominator between all the cars that I've seen drive it is a good set of rear leaves.
Maybe you'll make it without the string next time :laugh3:

Seriously though, eliminating the rockers made a HUGE difference.

Did someone stack the waterall?
i163744899_35282.jpg

None of those rocks were down at the bottom last time we were there.

No, it's actually more dug out & less stacked, if that's even possible. The rocks that you can see are well before the waterfall.

7100 droped off at Bilstein today at lunch. 75.00 for a full rebuild. :)

I blew mine.
You know if they sell a rebuild kit?

I have been feeling a bit bloated lately. I thought it was just water wait. So I went to see the doctor.
He told me to start working out with one of these more.

I'm going to take his advice and see how I look in a few months.
