Iam getting ready to build a rear traction bar similar to the Sam's OffRoad bar.
I was going to take 1/4" and build a " C " around the subframe infront of the rear springs Then run a 1" buy .25 wall piece of DOM tubing across the jeep from inside subframe to inside sub frame.
Will it be strong enough Strong enough??
Running a 60 out back, 4.0L ,4-1 T-Case, 5.13 gears, ( 5 Speed ) and 39.5"s

I think you'll have better results using rectangular or square tubing rather than round. I think it would be relatively easy to flex or bend the round 'crossmember'. It's strength is in short sections or pulling/pushing not perpendicularly. (Is that a word? nice engrish)
