Brought the new to us XJ home this evening. Specs are:
1996 Country
4.0/AW4/NP231
4" RE super flex suspension
33" Goodyear MTR's on 15x8 soft 8's
8.25" rear (27 spline) w/full case Detroit & 4.10's
D-30 front with Easy Locker & 4.10's
SYE kit w/Arizona Drivelines driveshaft
Warn winch bumper
Rock sliders, tank skid, belly skid, control arm skids, diff guards, and some aftermarket heavy duty rear bumper
Rock lights underneath
Manual fan override
Power steering cooler
Auxiliary trans cooler

It needs a few things addressed, but overall I'm happy with the deal we worked out on it.

Thanks!

Probably not going to be going anywhere for a little while. As I said I need to address a few issues, plus I need to concentrate on getting the YJ ready to sell, and I've decided to simplify even further and sell my M1008 pickup, too. It doesn't need anything except to put the cargo rack back on the bed and a bath and it's ready to sell, but the YJ needs a few cosmetic issues taken care of, and I need to get a new rear driveshaft made for it before I can sell it.

Put the front shaft in the rear and come to JF. You have a whole month to do what ya gotta do.

I have to do a whole lift and work the bugs out of a new Jeep by then too.

Looking good, Mike.

Thanks!

As for front driveshaft in the rear, the Wrangler's rear driveshaft is roughly 18" long so I don't think that'll work lol. It has a JB Conversions super short SYE with a 32 spline 1330 output yoke from an NP205 that I machined to fit. I have a shaft for it that I've been running, it just has more wear in the slip section than I'm comfortable with, so I'm gonna get a new one made before I sell it.

It's a mild but very capable little Jeep. Body is too nice to beat on off road, but I do take it on trail rides once in a while. Paint is good except for the hood & cowl panel which have a little sun fade.
Specs on it are:
'94 4.0 HO/AX-15/NP231
A/C & power steering
Dana 35 rear, Super 35 kit w/ARB & 4.56's
Dana 30 front w/ARB, new 760-x shafts (one piece conversion) & 4.56's
OME 2.5" lift, heavy duty stock length shackles, 2" body lift
Rancho RS5000's
JB Conversions HD Super Short SYE, 32 spline 1330 output
Bestop seats front & rear (fold & tumble rear)
Rugged Ridge HD steering conversion
JKS telescoping track bar
Currie rear bumper w/swing away tire carrier
Unknown model American Racing 15x8 wheels w/matching spare
32x11.50-15 BFG MT KM-2's w/80% tread, spare is Dunlop Mud Rover 100% tread

I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things but that's all I can remember off the top of my head.

Rally Mike?

Making us click the link.... I like. what you going to ask for it?

Well I'm on my phone. It's not so easy that way lol

Ah... I could never do the forum thing on my phone. It just occurred to me that when I meet you back in 02 or 03 at the Crawl you were driving a White XJ on 33X10.50's?

I started out in '01 with a gold '85 model (which I painted orange because I couldn't stand the gold lol), then bought a grey '94. Wheeled that one at the '02 & '03 Crawls and numerous other SEC chapter rides when I was event coordinator. Got out of XJ's and into motorcycles for a while, built another XJ (the white '91 on RE long arms & 35's). Wheeled that one at the '07 Crawl, which was my last trip to Tellico. I got a wild hair and traded it for an '81 CJ-7 which wound up being a steaming pile, so I sold it, back into motorcycles again, plus had a Samurai for a while, ran across a sweet deal on an '88 YJ that I couldn't pass up, that morphed into me buying this '94, only to make me realize that I'm not much of a convertible guy, so I've sworn off motorcycles, got this '96 XJ, and will be paring down my fleet to gain a little better financial stability.

Lets see how long this sticks :confused1

Ops, grey. I remember now.

That '85 was gold from the factory, then had a Maaco quality respray at some point. It wasn't pretty by any means. It also had the anemic 2.8L V6 & 5 speed.

I was taking the automotive paint & refinishing course at Lanier Tech, so I painted it for my class project. It wasn't the best in the world, but much better than it was. At least I couldn't lose it in the woods lol
