I'll be posting my nearby pictures of Turquoise Lake over the weekend shortly... looks like the smoky haze that we had on Friday/Saturday cleared up yesterday... nice pics!

It was a little hazey in the morning but it cleared up about noon. Fishing was very slow, but it was a very nice day trip. The highlight of the day was watching an 8 year old boy on another boat fight with and catch two 30 plus inch mackinaws

Do you have a light under the hood? If not it may be the cord to plug in the under hood light.

Looks big enough to be the connector for the heater fan.

As in cab heater? cause if so that would explain why when i turn it to heat nothing comes out the vents. It only does it if i turn it to vent or AC...

Another vote for underhood light.

When you turn the selector to heat, you should have most of your air blowing on the floor, with a little air blowing through the defrost vents.

Nope no underhood light unless the previous owner removed it. It doesn't look like there was ever one in the first place though. did the 96 SEs even come with the light? Mines just the 96 SE base model no tow package

It is pretty common to have unused connectors in a wiring harness. Especially if you have a model with few options added in.

This. My 93 sport didnt have a light but the plug was there. Then when I got my 90 laredo and it was plugged into a light I knew.
