oops!!it is a 94 just the head unit. It took me about 2 hours to sort out the wireing for the head unit. I beleave I have it right for the unit useing the stock wireing. also looks like there was a amp installed at one time.found some heavy gage wire. does not look like any of the old wire is...

Ok So I put a new CD player in the old Xj that I got back in april and now when I turn on the head lights the player gos off for a few secs and if i use the cig lighter the fuse blowes? any help would be grate. thanks Don

I have a 94 also and had the same problem did a new battrey and starterstill no start it was battrey cable the old cable was o.e. and had acid wear yiu could not see it.

no start like how? does the starter click? I had a no start with my 94 it was a bad battrey cable could not tell till I cut it onen

also it is a 94 4.0 H.O.5 speed

new cap,rotor and plugs also plug wires. got spark checked gap on plugs

I'm about to install the parking brake handle is there tricks or things to look out for is a 94 5 speed Thanks for any help Don
