welcome I'm kind of wen myself. just got my first XJ last April. If your near Fountain Co. there is what looks like a mid 90's XJ for 1700.00 OBO. I was in my work truck and did not have time look closer.P.M. me if you want.

Well all that's out of my relm I drive truck for a lumber yard. I say the parts stores I could use a friend in a parts store. LOL You should do fine in the tech fields here. Good luck. If you ever need a hand with your XJ I'll do what I can always ready to learn. Don
oops!!it is a 94 just the head unit. It took me about 2 hours to sort out the wireing for the head unit. I beleave I have it right for the unit useing the stock wireing. also looks like there was a amp installed at one time.found some heavy gage wire. does not look like any of the old wire is...
Ok So I put a new CD player in the old Xj that I got back in april and now when I turn on the head lights the player gos off for a few secs and if i use the cig lighter the fuse blowes? any help would be grate.

I have a 94 also and had the same problem did a new battrey and starterstill no start it was battrey cable the old cable was o.e. and had acid wear yiu could not see it.
