Bought my self a dana 44 EB and setup to bolt into a XJ :twak: It has 4.56s and a detroit. I paid 350 for it so it was cheaper than doing all the stuff I need to on my 30. It needed Gearing, locking, hubs, ball joints, and shafts. I sold my plow setup for $1750 and sold my hydro setup for $250 to. Not to bad for a truck I bought for $2600 I am regearing my 8.25 unless some one has a 44 or 8.25 geared 4.56 for sale. Im pretty pumped over this!
H8Pvmt was right on this though It is a trash unibody. Im not spending a shit ton of money on it any more just maintaining it. Ill start over again in a year or two.
For steering Im thinking ruffstuffs hiems in the 7/8s flavor.
I also am going to get my naxja membership probably tomorrow. I just need the cash I deposited tonight to clear the bank!
It worked fine in the one we unbolted it from.

The hell? Is that re tubed to get rid of the cast ends so they could attach lca mounts? Sure don't look like it...
It's a 76 so it had the welded mounts. They just cut them off and installed a rubicon express axle bracket kit

That's the axle I believe. I bought it from hoggie on sis. He thought it was 76 but wasn't sure. Same thing on the brackets. But whatever ill run it. I need to get some shafts for it though.
