How about you do some work to your Jeep instead of buying trucks.
Cause spending several grand and getting 12 mpg's is way better then getting 12mpg's

I know this but I don't want to have to deal with the jeep as a dd. I hate cars and this truck is a good deal. I know it cost more than a jeep does to maintain. But I can live with that compared to something that is a toy

why not just buy another xj to dd since you already know how to fix them and there cheap to work on
That would go over like a lead zeppelin with my dad. He already said only one jeep. And he wants me to get the truck so I can stop driving the cummins. He started dd it again. So no more dd for me. And since I live with him it's his day that finalizes it. He also doesn't want me getting a car.

No. But a cheap place to live with a garage and tools is nice. And not pissing off the owner helps maintain that.

I had a job for 9 months was laid off twice because of lack of work. I was fired 1 time at a shit job. Now I'm at a good place were they are actually worth working at. And I can actually get some hours in at. And sure the swampers suck. I don't run them any more I'm on some at's for now.
