YJ Cage

Ill post specifics about it tomorrow as far as diameter and such. I believe it is HREW. Just got the YJ. The cage fits with factory windsheild and soft top (dunno about hard top). Instead of cutting it up just to start over id see if anyone wants to use it. Here are some pics til then

Asking $300 obo. Will trade for parts. Need 4.0, trans, tcase, seats, 8lug wheels, link joints, d60 parts....

To clarify the B-pillar hoop is the factory hoop and the rest of the structure is made from 1.75 ID .120wall DOM tubing. Everywhere there is a slice in the DOM there is a 4-6" inner sleeve of 1.5 ID .120wall HREW.

I see no reason a factory hardtop wouldn't fit either although its never been tried.

So you think its worth less being made out of DOM instead of HREW?

No because main hoop is factory roll bar. And Im not gonna use hardly any of it if i don't sell it. Everything is gonna change.

YJ main hoop is like 2.5" .120wall HREW and more than strong enough to save your life. Its a continuing debate on Pirate. The CJ factory hoop is junk but the YJ and TJ ones are plenty strong for building a cage off of.

Ya not saying it isn't strong or i wouldnt sell it. Just need a fresh start with all the tube work due to plans with it all.

Yeah, I get that. I was going to do the same. Cut the cage out even with the floor and somebody can easily add feet to it and have a bolt in cage thats a great starting platform or just leave it as is.
