XJ's in public service

I have ran across a 99 XJ with the Police Package for sale cheap, I mean stupid cheap $1k :callme:. What all does the PP come with besides the high idle switch?

How about XJ's used in Rally Racing EMT/Crash/Fire Response...

Don't have a pic, but I saw a right hand drive PUD marked XJ up in Marysville about a week ago. That would be pretty crazy to wheel.

I am surprised that this one has not been posted.

May 16, 2009 despite what the time stamp on the camera says

This shot gives me flashbacks of a Christmas Eve at Galveston Beach, TX.......drove my ex-bro-in-laws Blazer down from Houston for the day and pulled out on the beach and went for a walk and shot some photos.....came back to water lapping at the tires. (Hey....we don't have tide in Utah!)
Jumped in to move it and the rear tires dug in.........sand was getting soupy, so I grabbed 4 Hi and the rears dug in more.....discovered no front D-shaft! Quickly recruited some giggling surf fisherman for a push and got back to solid ground, wounded pride but somewhat wiser. :laugh2:

Mine used to be in public service as an Indiana DNR rig. It then went to another guy who i don't think had it too long. So i know that it was maintained by DNR not too sure about the other guy.

I took this picture a couple of years ago at Red Rock Canyon in Central California. It was behind a locked gate at the ranger station, so I couldn't get a view.
