XJ wipers

I was wondering if anybody ever had a winshield wiper fail on them. I thought they were intermitten, but the driver's wiper works and the passenger's just stays there. Maybe they are intermitten, but there's some kinda broken linkage in there. Any ideas?

Use genuine kite string. Seriously, sounds like a broken linkage. Better off asking this in OEM tech.
