...just thought i'd let you guys see what i've been up to lately with the XJ.
Been going through some pictures, new and old, and found some "progression" pics... or what the jeep(s) used to look like, haha

First up, i FINALLY! did my dual battery setup... using my 08 + 09 Crawl provided batteries. (thanks NAXJA SEC!)

...didn't notice a huge improvement in starting, lights, etc.

but i did find out i can leave my HIDs on for a few hours before someone says "you left your lights on" :anon:

...since the Boggers will be my "trail tires" i only drove them on the street for a couple days... but i couldn't resist trying them out before taking them off could i?

...while street driving them, i took a video to show how well Boggers belong on a Daily Driver :)
i show the radio volume at 25 (i usually listen to it at 30ish which is fairly loud, 40 is all the speakers will handle; for reference to noise levels) then i go 0-45ish (i also have a turbo muffler and turndown, which most of you are familiar with its sound levels) then i go 0-45ish again, making sure to hit OD where the exhaust "drone" comes into play...

...after seeing that, would anyone agree that Boggers are friendly road tires?
i might also add, they feel like tank treads at 1-3mph... and are unbalance and have beadlocks...

everyone knows i like to take pictures... well i have a spot in town where i first took my cherokee when it was stock, and i've since then, taken pictures there after i do a "major" change to the jeep... i thought these were cool...

Looks great man. I love it.

When I was running 3 inches and 35's, the lower quarters got into the tires pretty bad. They starter to cut the tires before I chopped the lower quarter off.

Jeep looks good.

Your XJ is looking great. It needs just a little more altitude for my taste. I think I read where you were going to toss in a little more lift. Was I right?

I like the second battery tray. Is RSORF going to offer a kit for those? The tie down is super pimp!

Those are some nice Co-op Magna Power batteries, courtesy of East Penn Mfg for the Crawl raffle.

You will even more I bet.

I have to disagree. I wheeled Tim's XJ at the Crawl last year since the willys was down, and Tim couldn't make it anyway. Having experience both tires (as in his 35 boggers and my 38 TSLs) I honestly feel like the TSLs are a better all around tire. They weigh less, flex better, and have better side ways traction. The boggers were good tires, don't get me wrong, but I think they only did better than a TSL in the really sloppy stuff. On the dry, the TSLs out shine the boggers, but they hold their own in the wet too. I have yet to get the Jeep stuck with them, and I have been through some NASTY stuff (deep peanut butter mud). I personally think he will like the new combo better: bigger tires, less weight, stronger axles, more flex, and the same low center of gravity. Should make for an absolute killer combo.

The Kelly DTRs were my first set 'big' tires that I had on my CJ-7. At the time I thought my CJ was the baddest ride in the world! Dumb kid.

I hope they are what you expected. I liked them plenty.
