I'm considering going back to having a regular car, so my wife and I can deal with our 3 kids. I know, don't bother telling me, but it is reality.
So, I've got a grey '88 XJ, in very nice shape, with about 85,000 miles (original, of course). It is lifted 6 inches, with 4.10 gears, non-disco front axles with 297/760 U-joints, 33/12.50s on black steelies, straight nice body, custom front winch bumper with Warn winch, custom rock rails, home-made rear bumper, rear receiver hitch with recovery hook, Quicker swaybar Discos, air tube with K&N, CB, AM/FM/CD, Recaro driver's seat, Hi lift jack, Con-ferr roof rack. Le Baron hood vents. Aftermarket driving lights, custom headliner. Skyjacker track bar and relocation bracket (on top of front axle).
4 liter, auto tranny, (manual tranny switch installed, keeps tranny from shifting up or down, when engaged). I have adjustable upper and lower control arms (not installed) and fixed aftermarket LCAs.
It needs a new windshield (cracked, I have had it priced at $140 for replacement), and the tires could do with getting balanced again (I seem to have lost wheel weights on both front wheels) but that's about it. It runs great, burns no oil, and is very dependable.
But, it's too dang tall to get into for my wife, and our kiddoes. So, I'm looking for a good trade, thinking primarily about a VW Jetta, or perhaps a Honda/Toyota equivalent, in as nice of shape as my Jeep is in. Or, perhaps you have something that I haven't thought of that would appeal to me -- but I'm thinking "PRACTICAL."
PM me and I'll shoot you some pictures. I'm in Aspen, Colorado.
