A friend of mine is looking for a '97-99 XJ. 4.0L 4WD. 8.25 rear end preferred.

Modified is ok...33's is probably the biggest he'd be looking for as far as the "how modified is ok" question.

It's for his son.

If you have anything that fits this criteria...preferably no further north than Atlanta let me know and I will try to put you 2 in touch with one another.

I buy fix and sell them all the time. I just sold off the last 2 extra ones I had.

EDIT: Never mind. It just clicked that I'm north of Atlanta. Brain fart.

He found one local.

I gave him the address so hopefully we'll see him here.

He bought a 2001...it already has 200K+ on the clock so hopefully the head won't be an issue or has already been repaired...I mentioned it to him before he went to look at it.

I think he paid well under $3K for it (maybe closer to $2K) and says it's really clean.
