2 K is going to be hard to find a decent on. Prices seem to be up. I just paid almost 3k for a 97 4X4 4 door 4.0 automatic with 134k on the odo. Came from P.A. has a couple or rust spots but my plans r to lift it.

Yeah, that's what I've been noticing... I've never paid more than 400 bucks for a running XJ... I've owned now. LoL

If we do find something decent its 2wd.

There was a white 4 door close to my house for sale for 1500. Don't know all the info on it. I will stop tomorrow and look at it if it is still there.
