Snapped a bolt off in my yoke. I'd prefer not spend $60 on a new one. I'm under the impression a D30 Yoke is the same as the D44 yoke. I bet one of you folks have one laying around you could ship to me.

I know I have a yoke on the gold jeep around back but that would require me to pull it. I might have some yokes laying around the shop but that would require me to look in my messy shop. have you priced a new one?

take the yoke off and drill the bolt out from the back side of the yoke. should force it to unthread out of the hole. I have done this a couple of times.

Ditto! If it does not come out you can switch to the strap style. If you already have the strap style then you can switch to bolts and lock nuts instead of just bolts it's a breeze.

I went through the same thing. I spent the 60 bucks on a new bolt yoke because converting my strap yoke would have taken a lot of work and wouldn't have been as strong.

Don't you work in a machine shop? You could easily bolt it to the mill table through the pinion hole and spot face the back sides of the bolt holes with an end mill. That would provide plenty of flat area for the nuts to sit on.

If I'm wrong about where you work you could just send it to me and I'd knock that out for you and send it back, but that may just wind up being more of a hassle than you're wanting to get into lol

I don't think I could sit still long enough to enjoy that kind of job lol

Anyway, if you wanna send it to me I'll do the work, no charge. Just pay for shipping back & forth. I can't make any promises but I feel confident that I could get it done. I machined a 32 spline NP205 1330 yoke to fit on my JB Conversion HDSYE in my Wrangler, so hopefully yours would be a simple in and out deal.
