Are you in a rush to buy one? I'm considering selling my current front bumper. Check out my "hero blog" in the Sierra chapter for some pics. On my phone right now so I can't post pics.

I might be selling it when get home from school for winter break.

An xj bumper would it an mj right? The front end is the same right?

Let me know if you're interested!

Oops just saw that they're the same. Lemme know!

Heres a recent pic for ya.

landl fab

i got mine for 270 shipped a few years ago, i think hardware was extra, but that nice. I drilled extra mounting holes on the pass side and driver, so I now have 9 mounting bolts on each side

Kevin, I know OP would have first dibs. But how much were you thinking for the bumper?

Jeremy, I'm thinking $300, but I don't think I could take less. It is made from DOM tube and 1/4" plate... I have way too much time into this bumper lol. If I have enough 1/4" steel in my scrap pile, I can weld on a winch mount too. It was designed to fit a standard size winch and would require cutting a pocket into the grill to get a winch to fit.

I also may be willing to fab one from scratch for someone if I have time, but I won't know my work schedule until around the 17th.

Lol it's like he didnt even look at my post, ill just cut mine up and use for scraps, no big deal :-) drilling those d ring holes were a pita anyways

tying into 3 holes for 200$? no winch mount. Id have to agree with starboard , with all of the bumpers I've sold over the years, no winch mounting and factory stock bumper moiunt tie ins are hard to sell for anything over 80$, and usually for 20-50$ in my experience, which I like to think I've sold alot more Xj parts than most, parted out at least 15 XJs in the last few years, never stock, always built up...

the landl fab one goes all the way back, comes with D rings and a place to mount a winch, its lightweight, its dirt cheap, and like 8 mounting holes on one side and like 6 on the other, or at least I drilled that many out anyway. easy to drill through the frame in a few extra places and throw a couple grade 8 bolts through. I tied my stinger and cage into it and welded it. its not tucked up as much as the homebrew stuff, I had to cut my grill to fit my winch, thats fine with me, it doesnt stick out as far. Used id say that with real frame tie ins and a winch mounting surface is relly probably worth 150, . its light and cheap.

i built mine with 1/4" plate to go all the way back to the last hole by the coil. I went thru the steering etc. the front 3 aren't what's weak, it's the cheap frame rails holding it in place

Like I said, ill just cut it up if 50-80 is all anyone expects to spend... But $200 was a starting point, you bargain someone down not up.

Mine ties into every open hole on the frame.

Ahh I see now. It looked like only the first 3 holes, thats a bit better actaully. It drives the price up. If you built some sort of winch mount into the thing, id say 100-200 would be good since the landl fab one is 200$, but then you go shipping, but theirs is built pretty well.

I bought a front and rear bumper from these guys two years ago. I really liked them and I picked them up from him personally in NC. seemed like a nice guy in person.

their website is gone.. going to be calling arabias overkill in campbell to see what they can do.

Apparently he uses stock 3 hole bumper mounts too...
So does JCR, BUT they have the frame tie-ins available. Other companies make them too. I believe DBO has them.
Not everyone who gets aftermarket bumpers uses them for more than looks. I want to say that landl makes the bracket tie-ins also.
