WTB 99-01 XJ, Dead or Alive

I have a '99 but it's 2wd - don't ask me why I bought a 2wd Jeep, I ask myself that weekly.

I'm looking for either a nice runner, or a basket case that has all the parts to convert mine. My '99 only has 75K miles on it, so I'd rather convert it to 4WD than end up with something with 150K miles. This will be my DD, to so a Limited would be a plus. Really I want a navy blue or black Limited with tan interior and an manual trans and an NP242, but I don't think that exists. I'd like to spend absolutely no more than $4500.

So the ideal runner XJ would be:

1999
4.0
NP242
Limited
125K miles or less
Blue / Green / Gray

The ideal salvage / swappable XJ would be:

AX-15
HP30
Everything else is inconsequential.

Anyway, please let me know if you have anything or happen across one in the area between DFW and KC.

There is a 2000 xj on the dallas/ft worth craigslist with 130k on it IIRC, though it has a 231, rust, and driveline or suspension problems. I looked at it and decided it wasn't worth anywhere near the $5k they were asking(they didn't mention the rust or driveline/suspension problems when I called to ask). Search on craigslist and you'll probably find something.

I've found a couple here locally - one for $1200, but the woman flaked on me before I could check it out.

I'm just going to convert the one I've got. The local pick-n-pull has a '98 I can swipe the tranny / t-case off of for $275, figure $300 out the door with shifter, linkage, etc.

Just need driveshafts and front D-30 - hopefully I'll be 4WD for less than $600.
