WTB: 97+ front seats

The seats in my 88 dont have near enough support for my jacked up back. I bought them last year, and they're near mint out of a newer model, but I need to try the 97+ seats. Anyone have a decent set? Prefer tan, but will do other colors. In Sacramento. Let me know what you have and how much.

May want to try grand front seats. They are usually more comfortable and are bolt in to the xj seat brackets, at least for the 97-01. I have grand seats in my 00

Well, there's a bunch of those at PnP, so maybe I'll try that. I guess I can bolt some up to older XJ brackets at the JY and see what fits.

I had a problem with my 97 stock seats. The frame was comming apart at 260k miles on them. So i pulled them apart and rebuilt the frame. They are super comfy now. Way more comfortable than my zj leather seats in my other jeep. Im on the bigger side and the xj seats are bigger than the zj seats which the headreast are at my sholderblades. Just a thought. You can rebuild seats and add better foam to give a better feel.

80s seat brackets are different you have to swap brackets and make new mounts

my buddy is selling 2001 wrangler (same mounting seats i believe) for $80 for 2 seats good condition.

I'm a big guy, so maybe the xj seats would be better than the zj, if they are indeed smaller. I added a bunch of foam to the lumbar area on my seats already and it helped, but not enough.
Do the wrangler seats bolt into the 88 xj bases?

Angle plate to adapt the front mounts, once that is done, mark and drill holes for the rear seat mounts.
