First time poster here. The MJ forum that I usually frequent is back east for the most part so advertising this thing there is pretty much a waste of bandwidth. I was glad to find this site had a SoCal chapter.
Anyway,
Any CheroManche builders out there? Here's the Manche half. It is / was a '89 MJ, 2 WD that met a 3/4 ton Dodge P/U in a left turn accident last month. The Dodge kissed us in front of the front tire from the side so most of the truck survived. I can't say the same for the front sheet metal and sub-frame extensions. We're saving the tired 2.5 for a total rebuild to go in the replacement MJ. At this point I just want the whole thing to disappear in one piece. I'm not into the shipping / parting out thing at this point.
Here's some of the bigger things that are in good shape: Good bed, tailgate, and rear bumper, AX4, D35, (open 3.55), sturdy rear leaf springs, nice blue vinyl bench seat, OEM towing mirrors, passenger-side door, all good glass, working brake system.
And of course it has a title, (not salvage yet).

But wait! That's not all. Act now and you'll also receive this nifty set of stock rims and tires- in addition to the ones that are under the truck already. Operators are standing by Lugs and snow cables included too.

Well, it didn't look like anyone wanted the whole thing so I've started taking a few parts off. I don't have time right now for a long detailed post so here's the short version:
>I'm making a trailer out of the back half so parts I need for that stay. This includes two of the six rims and tires, the tailgate, tail lights, and the back bumper.
>There's not much to the interior except a nice blue bench seat with brackets.
>I'm not into shipping big stuff like tires, tranny, gas tank, bench seat, etc.
>Anything that I don't need for the trailer project is available for free :yelclap: to someone that wants to come and get it.

I could grab it for you on my way home for spring break and then drop it off on the way back...
I'm stopping in lancaster to pick up an 30 anyway

That would be awesome! Let me know and I'll help you with gas $$ or something, it would be much appreciated. Still looking into valving options for the shocks, thanks much.

Can you fit two front axles and four tires in a Cherokee?

I had 5-35" tires in the back of mine, it was a pain and tweaked my headliner/upper speakers. Took some creative packing but if it is a problem, let me know and I can look into another option, thanks much, appreciate the offer!!
