Wrangle gear ratios

Is it a Sport or Saharra? What axles does it have? Like IslanderXJ said more than likely it is 3.07. But there is a quick way to check. Go to the rear diff cover, there should be an ID tag bolted to the diff cover usually on the left side. It will have some numbers on there. It should say something like a number then a letter and then two more numbers. Those will be your gear numbers. You can also tell what axle you have while you are back there. If it is a Dana 44, look at the front of the rear axle on the pass side of the vehicle, you should see a 44 cast into the ribs on the upper side off the axle.

Good luck. Take pics and post them up if you are not sure.

About half of the wranglers I've pulled axles from lately have had 3.73, with 4.0's and manuals or automatics.
