hahaha what are the ones over here I'm seeing? Stupid women taking them on roads they can't go speed limit on. Get out of my way boxed moped!

Reminds me of a basic Kia Rio. At 4K they are very affordable but at the same time they are made of aluminum foil and have no modern features like power steering. Funny thing is that they come with speakers but no radio. lol

Well, you won't have to worry about buying one, unless you move to India.

According to Tata motors, the idea is to get those scooters that pack the family on the back, off the road. This little car is meant to be safer and more ecologically friendly that said overloaded scooter with the family sitting on top.

I think it's a step in the right direction. However, the UN is up in arms about it because they think that before long everybody in the 3rd world will own a Tata, or it's clone, because it's "affordable".

I'd like to see an affordable car produced, or marketed in the US. If cars were cheap again, the older, less efficient, and busted stuff would start making it's way to the scrap yards instead of hanging on and poluting the air and dragging down the US economy figures. It seems that currently a "reasonably priced" car is about 1/2 the average per capita US yearly income. In otherwords, a Jeep Patriot costs the owner about 1/3 of what a average house in the midwest would have 10 years ago...and wages have not gone up appreciably.

Good points! Though I aint letting my XJ go no matter how low prices are on those stupid looking things. As long as gasoline's still around, which will be a longg time, the XJ is it.

I have a nissan altima that's needed a radiator for 3 months. I'd rather completely rebuild a axle on the heep in order to get to work; than wrench on that Japanese machine:D :repair:
