could you hook a paying member up with discounts? cuz holy crap that winch rope is expensive...looks quality though and i like how it comes with a heat guard for the bottom of the spool i was looking into amsteel blue line but now i have 2 options haha
yea i think imma spend the extra 130 and go with master pull...and its not a crazy blue rope on the otherwize zero blue jeep
Right on, what does your avatar say btw? I can't read the fine print.

But, let me get this straight....you come out to your Jeep at school, find a business card, call the dude, go for a visit, and walk out with all that free stuff AND a job???
One more thing...diggin the black on the sides. I did it to mine last year and I love the look!

DANA 60's, cuz chicks don't ride D44's
Damn thats not a bad price for winch rope. Whats amsteel like twice that?Honestly Amsteel Blue is not the strongest stuff, check out this page and look at the 5/16th inch ones. I have the 5/16ths Superline on mine, I used to have a Amsteel Blue on mine but switched it out for the Superline.

Explain.

I know about the Master-Pull advantages. I was hoping that Alex wouldn't just leave a claim like that hanging is all. They use larger diameter rope that's pulled/heated just enough to make the diameter smaller. It's not just 'off the shelf' stuff, it goes through their process. IIRC it has about 2x the breaking strength of Amsteel...for the same diameter.

Yeah, I'm worried about mine...as you know my rig is rarely clean, out of the elements or otherwise maintained.I'm not sold on synthetic line here for a DD that stays outside. I've got dirt and crap in my line that probably would have chewed synthetic up and spit it out.
