Won't start

Mason some time if you sell something that is actually been washed recently ,a prospective buyer might think you gave a shit about it and you would be surprised how few people care that a diesel p/u will run 100mph i would pull that add wash the truck and re write the add

Yeah taht might be true.

I went through 9 cars in a year, it was pretty fun, learned a lot and made a lot of money.

Then lost it buying a DSM ended up trading it straight up for a XJ and.

This coming from the guy who makes money off piles of broken Pentastars. LOL Just saying...

And that from the guy that makes more money buying my parts and selling them on e-bay...... :moon:

It's just fun picking on Ford guys...... they're so sensitive about it.... :roflmao:

Met some dude at the 'yard a couple weeks ago pulling spare steering out from under one I was getting cruise switches from. Asked if he'd heard of NAXJA and apparently we're a bunch of cliquish pricks. Then on the way out saw his 'rig' in the lot- it made McCantard's last project look like a show queen.

SSSOooooo........ Did you sell your Truck?

Not yet. Got a guy comin to look at it in a few days and a few people emailing me about it.

Dutch you really don't want my friend's YJ... I mean I can give him your number, but you'd be trading WAY down. It's not exactly uh... offroad capable. I've seen it flexing and well, it doesn't. I've seen a bone stock XJ flex better, this thing wouldn't do well on the rocks. I'd be using it as a DD, probably wouldn't be doing much offroading in it. But if you want to talk to him lemme know and I can set you guys up.

I'm checkn out a CJ8 on Sunday :)... if it's everything the owner says it is it'd be a pretty nice rig

Pm me year model and whatnot, I'd be willing to talk to him just for shits

dont be stupid again. if u sell ur truck, spend the money on your xj. if u get another jeep u will end up spending all your money and alot more on it, then u would building a xj

I want a Wrangler :gee:
CJ5-7-8, or a YJ.
It'll be my DD and I'll be able to do some trails.

The XJ I'm building is purely a trail rig, and will take a while to build. I'll be surprised if it'll be half done by the time I ship... it'll have completely sleeved and tube-reinforced framerails, a HP60 front and 70 rear, stretched wheelbase, either a 350 or a 460, blah blah blah. I don't plan on finishing it anytime soon, and I don't plan on doing anything to it unless I have exactly what I want for it.

To be honest the yj would be a better trail rig and the xj would make the better daily

Think so huh?

Wranglers are on a Frame already. And don't they have stronger axles?

Really? Dude that's awesome! I had no idea they had frames.

What do the axles matter? I can't think of a single dedicated trail rig that has stock axles under it.

The difference is, you can build tube fenders for the front and cut out rear on a yj and fit 35's on the stock springs. Stock springs wil flex fairly well too

True, but I would need some serious bumpstops and have to rely solely on the droop on the opposite side to get that flex. I'm looking for a Jeep that's already lifted so I don't have to worry about it.

Mason did you ever get your p/u to start consistently ???

Yeah it turned out to be a loose wire on the injector pump.
