I ve been to Morris Mountain about 20 times and mountainside about 3.. they do great on my TJ there..

I Love my SSR's they ride great and the noise is not as bad as one might think. They do very well on and off road. I have had a few sets of the Claws and loved them as well. But they are a lot louder on the open road. But the tire I love the most is the BFG Mud t/a's. I have had a ton of sets of them over the years. I am running a set now on my FJ40.
