I regularly wheel with a friend that has a 07 JK sahara and stock to stock; JK's blow XJ's out of the water straight from the factory but I could build a more capable XJ with the money he has into the JK. When the sahara went to 35's, my gf got the stock JK wheels and tires. I think they were like 32x10.5x18 or something similar to that and she runs them on 3" of lift. I think it looks pretty good but i dont want to know the price of replacement tires.
My stock XJ has Cooper Discoverer ATR's and I love those tires. Lasted 50k+ easily with thread left, reasonably priced but cant remember what I paid 5 or 6 years ago and is probably the best tire Ive ever had in snow. Snow only stopped me when my front started acting like a plow, nothing reverse and alittle speed wouldnt fix. Ive ran these tires on stock XJ and 01 silverado
