Wife Lifted my Rig

I just got home from Afghanistan the other day and the wife had a surprise waiting for me. She'd bought me a 99 sport a couple months ago and I've spent the time window shopping websites for my build. She, weird enough, was on board. She started asking questions and getting involved. Little did I know she was having my xj lifted 4.5" and 33s thrown on it. Would've loved to do it myself but Im pretty excited she'd do this considering its not her thing.

Still have some more work to do.

Sounds like you got a keeper. My wife surprised me with my first XJ for my birthday about 15 years ago.

Welcome home -- looks great!

SSWEEETTTT! Looks great, and thank you for your service to our country.

Does she have a sister?

That's awesome.

Welcome home and thanks for doing what you do! Looks like your wife appreciates you and what you do as well. Gotta be a GREAT feeling after being away for such a long time.

Now, the REAL question........ Did she tape a long "honey-do" list to the dash? :D

Wife's doing great things for their men overseas is a great thing.

I had a lady buy a .17HMR from me a year or so ago. She was buying it as a return present for him.

When I found out he was active duty and coming home from the desert, I knocked a serious chunk off the price.

Anyway, great looking jeep, welcome home and thanks for doing what you do!

awsome jeep looks great.....

Well that was nice of her! Thanks for your service man! :patriot:

The Jeep looks great!

Congrats, and thanks!

Looks great, Matt! My wife threatens my life whenever she catches me looking at buying another XJ... haha.
Thanks! I found out that you actually knew about it! I can't use the wheels any more as she threw the new rubber on the 16s on there. We'll still have to link up sometime.

Quite a honey-do list waiting for me. It wasn't on the dash, though. When we pulled up and opened the garage at 2am there was the Jeep with a huge ribbon and bow on it. I was confused. I told her but I've seen pictures, I was in on the buying process so the ribbon was not really expressing much of a gift... then as I got a better look I realized there was more to it. Still working on that list though.
