Aren't the newer plugs pipe thread?
WHY ARE THE T CASE FILLER PORT PLUGS ALUMINUM!?!

I could be wrong but, I do believe ALL the filler/drain plugs are pipe thread. The trick is ti identify metric from NPT. At least on everything I have had the plugs were pipe.
For National Pipe Thread plugs, go to the nearest home improvement store... Cheap cast iron parts that will last just short of forever.

It doesn't look like the earlier style are pipe thread as they have a seal under the hex head.

Fair enough. Then it still is a matter of finding the thread. Tap and die sets are good for that!
