Well, Moab is fast approaching. And the trail schedule has been posted.

While it's cool to meet new people, it's always fun to run a trail with the SoCal gang. So I was wondering what trails you guys are gonna run on what days.

I know I definitely wanna do Hell's Revenge again. But I'm open to anything after that.

no clue.. no clue and no clue :D

Ok... I'm thinking the following (gotta readup on those trail in the moab trail book):
Tue: Behind the Rocks or Flat Iron Mesa
Wed: Probably something not on the list as I wanna do Hells Revenge either Sun or Mon and none of those other trails looks apealing (Btw, Rose Garden Hill is not H, it should be rated M at most and it's really boring with one decent view from the top)
Thur: Poison Spider
Fri: Cliffhanger or Metal Masher

Anyways, I'll be there ready to run trails starting Sun.

OK, Poison Spider sounds good on Thursday. Then Hell's Revenge either Wednesday or Friday. I'll have to read up on the other trails.

Curt and I will be mountain biking Sunday and Monday...and maybe Saturday. Wheeling Tuesday thru Friday.

You know.... if I get into semi decent shape by October... I might bring my el cheapo bike with me so that I can ride a bike one day :D

We'll likely do Porcupine Rim one day and we do that as a shuttle run. So you don't have to be in great shape. Avery will probably also do this trail with us.

Hmm... might have to talk to Curt about getting my bike there :D
Anyways how's porcupine rim (difficulty level)?

My buddy (a Pro Downhiller who might show up) and I did it in about an hour and 20 minutes. You....expect 4+ hours.

As far as difficuly, it is what you make of it. In my eyes it is 99% ridable but for a novice let us say 80% is ridable. My plan is to HAUL ASS!! I can only ride it a couple of times a year so I have to hit it hard. It is my favorite run in Moab.

Now that depends on how many time we get to stop and watch you replace your front axle shafts! :D

Tues - Steel Bender
Wed- Hell's Revenge
Thurs- Poison Spider Mesa
Fri- Metal Masher
Sat- Pritchet

If anyone has a better idea (for me), I am all ears but I figured I would enjoy these. I have already done Poison Spedar Mesa (real easy) and Hell's Revenge (pretty easy but I didn't do Hell's Gate but I did the Escalator).
